Daytona Discount Store Robbed
Daytona Beach Police are looking for two black men who robbed the Family Dollar store in the 7 – hundred block of Mason Avenue on Monday.
Department spokesman Lt. Jimmie Flynt said the two men entered the business around
9:45 AM… with one of the robbers going behind the counter.
He told the clerk to open the cash register… and instructed not to move… while pushing an object into his back.
He made off with less than a hundred dollars in cash.
The suspects are described as a black male in his late 30’s early 40’s… low hair cut… black tank top… black pants and black shoes.
The man who went behind the counter is described as a black male with a low hair cut, dirty white t – shirt with a white tank top under the shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
The man had something shiny in his hands and pressed it against the victim’s back.
Lt. Flynt says suspects were roughly 5 – feet, 8 – inches tall.
